Imagine ...

Imagine you are face to face with St Peter at the Gates of Heaven.

He asks you: "Have you enjoyed life on earth?"

What do you answer?

  1. Well St Peter, on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a low 5.....

  2. Hi Madeleines and Randy,

No, it's not a trick question. St Peter is asking you, (and me), whether we enjoyed life on earth. Depending on our answers and that of others, a discussion may well result. But first, we need a few people to answer.

    God bless.

    1. Hi, Victor. I wasn't asking you if it was a trick question, that was my answer to St.Peter. Lol My real answer to St.Peter woud be this "Wayull St.Peter, if'n ya'll let me in this hee'are place forever, I'll tell ya"

  3. "Yes, Saint Peter. I did. Tremendously. Except when I didn't."

  4. Wow Judy - I agree with you. If one is in a high position of the public eye, they have a moral responsibility if they are Catholic to encourage others to the flock. I believe he is just Catholic to try to change the Church from within. Just like Pelosi and Sebillius. God will have much to say about these high profile individuals. I only wish the Church can do something - like excommunication like they did in the old days. Never to return unless they present a PUBLIC apology. They have chosen to live a public life so their apology must be public too. I know there must be much in the bible about those in leadership roles and their duties on influencing others. Don't have time to explore this right now though. Thank you for this information.

  5. I'd say, "Saint Peter, did you enjoy yours?" I have the feeling he'd say the same thing Judy did. Great answer, Judy:)

  6. I love Judy and Randy's response. As for me, I guess I would tell him: Yes, once I started following the Master.

  7. Thank you for your lovely responses.

God wants us to enjoy this life not endure it. There are so many who feel they should spend their life on their knees in prayer to the exclusion of everything else.

    God bless.

  8. Interesting. I think St. Peter may be privy to knowing the truth to that question so, Judy's response is perfect!
